There's been some controversy on whether a Cars 4 is actually coming out, so regardless of whether it does or not, I'm writing my own, bc I know a lot of us aren't too happy with how Cars 3 ended, so I'm going to try and smooth it out. Writing out complicated feelings is my business.
In the aftermath of changing his career, Lightning thinks everything is on the right track after days of agonizing uncertainty. But deep inside, he isn't ready to let go yet, and the light of his mistakes, recent and long ago, seems unwilling to let him be. Familiar faces clash as Lightning tries to set himself straight once and for all, moving forward with his life and finding contentment in what he has now.
In spite of what was taken from him.
