Vanessa Clarkson is a girl from a poor family who had a hard life from an early age. Constant aggression, violence, and consequently, life in endless stress and fear caused the girl to struggle with traumas and numerous mental illnesses to this day.

In order to free the teenager from her dysfunctional family, Vanessa's friend - Martine Nilson decides to take a girl with her to the United States, where they would start their adult lives together.

In order to give them a good start in their new place of residence, Martine decides to look for a place for them in show- business.

Vanessa is initially not convinced by this idea, but at the urging of her friend she finally agrees to her proposal.

As it turns out, the girls quickly get into the world of celebrities - Martine, thanks to her exceptional beauty, signs a contract with a famous modeling agency, while Vanessa receives an offer to participate in the latest film production.

On the film set, Vanessa meets Aaron Carter, one of Nick Carter's siblings, a member of the popular 90s boy band Backstreet Boys.

Aaron, however, is the complete opposite of his older brother - rebel, impulsive, troublemaker, struggling with many mental illness and addictions.
