Now you might be asking, 'what in the world could make Elizabeth-the same woman who survived three attempts on her life because she wanted a corrupt insurance company to pay people what they are owed-afraid of change?'
The answer to that question is quite simple: people have fucking superpowers and there is along with wild robots running around and somehow my father caused both. It's all my father's fault-well, his and Mike's. Until a day ago, they were the only ones capable of anything superhuman. Worst of all, they've dragged me into this convoluted mess.
No rest for an Afton, especially not only the girl in the family.
