Single parent Seong Gi-hun has to survive a zombie apocalypse along with his 9-year-old daughter Ga-yeong. After a few months of surviving the best that they can, they get to meet a desperate survivor who was almost eaten alive by a few zombies.

Gi-hun learned in a bad way how evil walks among them and is now more scared of the living than the dead walkers. Still, he offers officer Hwang In-ho a meal and a place to stay for the night.

 

Now, In-ho and Gi-hun have learned how to survive along with some allies next to them. And both are unaware that feelings have been developed among them. But each of them are scared to make a move, worried that their found family could be lost if their love is unrequited.
