Fast forward to 21, Alana's living in LA, modeling for top brands, sipping overpriced matcha, and decorating her apartment with vintage posters and candles she'll never light. She's finally out of a toxic relationship that nearly broke her, and she's found a friend group that feels like the family she lost. Her mom is a stranger now, remarried with two stepdaughters back in New York. But her dad? He's still her favorite person, living in Cape Cod with his kind, considerate fiancée and her now 16-year-old brother, who's doing a lot better.
Alana's got her independence, her career, and a hard-earned sense of peace.
