[COVER ART ABOVE MADE BY ME! COPY AND PASTE THIZ LINK FOR A CLEARER VERSION: https://ibb.co/wZS2MvyZ]

It's been eight years since rockstar Chester Bennington died and it's only been a measly seven months since Emily Armstrong had gotten up to take his place. Despite being put up on such a big pedestal though, Emily doesn't feel all that different from when she was with her original band, "Dead Sara". Like- it's different, of course, but at least she fits in and is good friends with the others despite their age gaps and differences. Life's changed for her and Linkin Park, and maybe it did for the better than it was after Chester's passing. Maybe she was doing good after all by leading Linkin Park to a new era. Perhaps if Chester was still here, he would've been proud of her; but those were questions that would remain unanswered, or so she thought...Soon strange things began to happen to Emily. Peculiar things, whether that be blackbirds in the sky, weird coincidences seemingly directed at her, off-putting sensations, nearly anything. And everything seemed to lead her to come across a strange little boy who seemed just as lost as she was. And what was supposed to be a stern confrontation turned into a disturbingly "coincidental" connection, making Emily realize that who she was talking to wasn't someone from here, but was the past version of someone. Someone who she thought was long gone...

FR Trilogie 1 | Nothing Sounds like me anymore (fanfiction sur Emily Armstrong) de maryunsaid
© Mary Unsaid. BIG CHANGES AND EDITING TAKING PLACE - BEAR WITH ME SOME THINGS MIGHT CHANGE This is a FAN FICTION if you do not want to read the fiction version is on my profile The greater the power, the more dangerous the abuse. They say that when you fall ill, you can't imagine how it had felt to be fit and healthy again. The memories disappear and all that you are left with is the pain and the feelings of being helpless, like your life is merely just hanging on the edge of a thread. If you compare it, I felt like that after the year of abuse I had endured, I couldn't remember how it felt not to be hit and shoved around. I couldn't remember how if had felt to not be covered in bruises or to have scrapes and cuts that sting. I was frightened every second of every single day. I feared what I would have to say, each word would be like gasoline to the fire that would inevitably explode sooner rather than later. At first, I loved him, I would gladly jump in front of a bus for him, but when the love-struck puppy disappeared and my vision was no longer clouded by sweet gestures and expensive gifts, I saw him for who he truly was. A cold, heartless man that thrived off the hurt and anguish of others, and when I finally discovered who the person I fell in love was, it was too late to leave. Skye Talbot was nothing near a normal girl. Her 'boyfriend' was part of the town's most dangerous and feared gangs. She didn't know how she got dragged into the lifestyle of drugs, sex and crazy fights, but she was starting to get used to it. Little did she know it was soon to all change. A mysterious group of five boys come to the school and turn it upside down. Turning them into the ones others should fear. When one of them takes an interest in her, all hell breaks loose between the two gangs. Who will she choose? Whose lives would be risked in the process?

She wasn't supposed to matter. Not like this. Not enough to make me break my own rules. But the way she looked at me- Like I was the only safe thing in a world that never gave her one- Changed everything. This isn't a love story. It's survival. And maybe... It's something more. I wasn't looking to be saved. People like me don't get rescued. We survive. Quietly. Carefully. Alone. But then she looked at me like I wasn't broken- Like I was worth staying for. She doesn't know what I've done to make it this far. She doesn't know what I am. And if she ever finds out... Will she still stay?
