When gaming blogger Jordan Vale stumbles upon a strange, unreleased Sonic fan game called Sonic Rosé, he assumes it'll be just another palette changed ROM hack to receive overrated praise. Instead, he finds a beautifully animated but increasingly unsettling experience filled with beautiful visuals, new mechanics, and cryptic messages that seem personally directed at him.
As he documents his playthrough on his blog, Jordan quickly notices something wrong-not just with the game, but with its creators. One's completely vanished. Another... is dead.
What begins as a quirky gaming curiosity turns into a psychological rabbit hole as Jordan dives deeper into the game's history, unearthing a tragic past, a possible haunting, and something far more terrifying than a glitched game.
The deeper he goes, the more the game changes-and the more it seems to know about him.

The Sonic gang is going on a trip to another place called Sycora City, a 2 day trip from Green Hills. Shadow is driving because why not. Sonic is next to him in the passenger seat, bugging Shadow while he drives. Amy is with Sticks, trying to teach her how to act more ladylike and to stop being paranoid. Silver and Blaze and snoozing in the middle seats of the van next to Amy and Sticks. Knuckles and Rouge are sitting in the back. Rouge is teasing Knuckles and Knuckles is annoyed, looking out the window and trying to ignore her. Shadow-rin and Tails are sitting next to them. Tails is sitting next to the window and sleeping. Shadow-rin is sitting next to him and has her headphones in, drawing in her sketchbook. Their road trip was meant to be a fun and enjoyable time to just hang out. But on the first night, they stop to stay over in a hotel in a secluded area. The place was practically empty, and they were the only people there apart from the owner, an old man. The place was dark and old, but the room they booked was more better kept, minus the dust. At night, Shadow-rin and Tails hear something, making them look around the dark halls in the middle of the night to investigate. The owner is hiding something, but they don't know what. And they don't want to find out. Sonic. EXE x Knuckles: When Hero Met Demon
Demons. Bloodthirsty, savage killers. They don't care about anyone other than themself and will stop at nothing to get the job done. They claim to be Gods. Mobians nicknamed these demons "EXE." Their master is unknown. They come out of nowhere, mainly at night, and kill. Heroes. Heroic, brave Mobians who come out of the shadows to stop the demons. They're the ones celebrated, they're the ones loved. They care about others. There is a lot of heroes in the world, just as much as demons. They also come out of nowhere, mainly at night as well, and save lives. What if a hero and a demon fell in love? Knuckles the Echidna is a hero. Somewhat gullible but short-tempered, this echidna isn't someone you want to mess with. In terms of muscle, he's the strongest hero around, but when it comes to smarts and speed, he's the weakest. Not the sharpest tool in the shed. Sonic the Hedgehog is a demon. Somewhat snarky but kindhearted, this hedgehog is a bit cowardly when it comes to fights. He was never about fighting and violence like other demons, he just wants freedom and peace. Bullied for his secret morals, he sneaks out for the night. What if these two were to cross paths?
