When yet another foster family is tired of his bullshit, the last chance he gets at getting care before turning 18 is with Anderson. Anderson has taken in many foster children, but now they had all moved on. The only one who stayed was Akiel and Anderson had no problem with that. One day he gets a call saying there is a kid in need of care and it was his last chance. Anderson cannot give up on that kid. Will Gabe be able to get rid of Anderson, or will the persistent bastard not give up on him?

"I can't be with you." I won't let them take the one good thing in my life. "Yes, you can Davis." Just one touch from him and he is the calm to my storm. I can be anyone with him, but that's not my reality. We've already been careless, and they could find out, hurt him, eventually kill him. I won't let that happen. "You don't understand." It's getting harder to shut down my feelings the more I'm around you and they will know somethings changed. "Then make me understand, damn it!" The anger in his tone hurts, but I'm doing this to him...to us. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I'm not good for you. I'm not good for anyone. I have to go before I can't walk away, and I need to walk away. "If something is wrong then tell me. We'll fix this." It can't be fixed. I can't be fixed! You can't fix what's completely broken. "Goodbye Liam." "No!" His lips land on mine and I wish that could fix everything, but I kiss him back with all I can for one last time. When I pull away, I run out without looking back. It's for the best. I'll do anything to keep him safe even if it kills me. Sold into the world of child traffickers at a young age, Davis doesn't know any other type of life. Hell, he doesn't even remember his real name. Doing what his owners order him to do or pay the consequences. That is until he meets Liam Freeman. A handsome Australian who he just stumbled upon in a bar. One meeting with him and Davis wants more...a real chance at life. Will he ever be able to get away from the life he's only ever known?
