Breccia Blue Baird was a kind and gentle girl who wore her heart on her sleeve. She loved nothing more than to be with her family and her best friend, Katniss, to sing and dance for everyone in 12 and to help her people.
But even then, the world had a tendency of being especially cruel to her.
Losing her older sister to the games, her best friend getting reaped, and a new but kind friend also getting reaped soon after.
So what happens when she volunteers for her best friend's little sister for the 74th annual Hunger Games and is sent into the arena with a twelve-year-old boy she had grown to see as a little brother.

Every one know the story of how my older sister, Katniss Everdeen, the girl on fire, and her fellow tribute, Peeta Mellark, won The Hunger Games. This is my story, when I, Primrose Everdeen, was picked to compete in the 76th Hunger Games. ~~~~ I was reaped once, for the 74th annual Hunger Game. I was 12, my first year being entered.
