Glorious General Returns With Her True Love

In Xin lived a young girl, worse, an orphan girl with a tragic past named Kim Anian. Her gender and her status as half-breed were what defined her early life. Teenager Kim finally escapes the shackles on herself after she joins the army of Xin and passes with top honors but here was the catch; the girl Kim Anian had become boy Kim An to join it. She feared that revealing her gender would lead to a disaster for herself due to strict segregation of men and women in the Army. But to her surprise, the powerful Prime Minister Li Kang, who was also the uncle of King of Xin-Li Angam both decided to back her stint dissolving her fears. She who feared her gender and her half-breed status throughout her life till this very point, found to her dismay that the world could very well be fair and people on power could be trusted.
A war with neighboring Zhiwen was brewing and their King Ling Guman openly sought her capture. While the war raged fierce, Li Xing, a relative of the Xin royal family, was also sent to back her up. He harbors design on her but she was always guarded as the Prime Minister Li Angam had warned her against him and his character.
Eventually on the night of victory, she lets go of her guarding instinct and on this very opportunity he pounces on her.
The two of them were later discovered by the Prime Minister who had come for talks with Zhiwen and Li Xing was punished and from then on, all hell broke loose. Li Xing was arrested and charged while Kim Anian was given a chance to start afresh again but she must take contraceptive medicine to keep herself free from bearing his child. She got the medicine from the royal clinic but found soon enough that not only was she pregnant but the fetus was growing rapidly inside of her and could no longer be aborted without harming her own life. At the behest of Prime Minister and his wife, she finally resigns before a finger could be raised at her stint and vanishes to give birth in peace but Li Xing had other designs.
