At the age of 6 his father found a new woman to love and abandoned his family. This caused Izuku's mother, Inko Midoriya, to run away with her son. He fell into a dark pit of depression and suicidal thoughts. Which led to harsh teasing and bullying from the other children at the orphanage. Of course the workers there never cared, why should they? To them he was just a burden, a waste. He couldn't take it anymore. The neglect, abuse and bullying got to him and he ended up running away to god knows where, hoping to find a home, somewhere to feel safe. But ended up homeless once again. He thought nothing would get better he decided he would give up trying to continue his miserable life, but a ray of sunshine, a ray of hope, stopped him and took him in. Someone who cared for him.
