Dante is a guy everyone fears. He's kind but also sharp tongued, reckless, and doesn't back down when someone pushes him, especially bullies. He pretends he's fine but behind the attitude and the rumors, he's completely alone.
Because when Dante goes home, he's not the strong one anymore. He's weak, trapped in a house with a father who's been abusing him since he was thirteen.
Now at a new school, Dante plans to keep his head down not getting attached to anyone until he meets Noah, the popular boy with a smile too warm and a heart too stubborn to leave him alone. Noah sees something in Dante no one else has ever tried to see.
