The Poisoned Pen: A Guardian Story
When private detective and former police officer, Zhao Yunlan, takes on an unusual undercover case protecting successful author, Shen Wei, from a crazed stalker, he has no idea that things are about to become very personal.
As he masquerades as the writer's personal assistant, Yunlan quickly comes to realise that the young man is unlike anyone else he has ever met, and as he gets to know him more intimately, he finds it increasingly difficult to separate his professional duties from his growing emotional connection to someone who has no clue about his real identity.
But then, nothing stays hidden forever, and soon all truths, good and bad, will be revealed, but not before danger, death, and despair come to call.
