Disclaimer I do not own any of the ATLA characters or settings or plots, just the characters I have made up. Want to give a very special shout out to two people. The first goes to Aranehl from DeviantArt for their beautiful drawing that I'm using as my cover page. It's a mystery how destiny works. How it can bring two people together and also how it can tear them apart. From their birth Anzu and Zuko's destinies seemed to be woven together. Growing up they had a bond so strong not even the Fire Lord could break it. However at the tender ages of 13 they are banished from their nation never to return unless they capture the Avatar. Now grown young adults they each stand at a crossroad of destiny. Will their bond last or will they each walk down different paths?

Now she is conflicted by the idea of being a mere servant and in love with the Prince, along with the fact that back home in the Northern water tribe her best friend and arranged fiance waits.
