Fighting for Oxygen

Eliana Madison's life has never been how she dreamt it to be. And Eliana was a dreamer. She imagined herself in all the different lives of the characters she read. It didn't matter how hard Eli's mother tried, she could get her daughter back on Earth even if she dragged her down. After Eli's mother passed, Eliana grew to be cold and tired. Her friends slowly stopped talking to her, leaving her to her own world, no longer filled with sunshine, but shadows. Not even the moon could capture her darkness, it was too much of a reflection of the sun, which Eli was sure was her mother.
Furious with Eliana's behavior, her father decides it's time for them to start somewhere new. She is put into a boarding school, where she then meets the troubled teen named Adrian Solace.
Adrian's parents both died and he was forced into the care of his aunt, who was too busy with her law firm to deal with the twelve year old boy now put into her care. In an attempt to save herself from the responsibility that was thrust into her hands, she puts Adrian into the boarding school and set off to focus on her career.
