Marvels greatest question: What If?
What if Ultron wasn't permanently killed off by Vision? What if he kept a part of himself hidden inside random computers? You'd imagine the mental machine to be that cautious, wouldn't you? What if that last bit of Ultron was waiting to attach itself to a new host so he could rise once again? When the time is right, of course.
What if those computers weren't so random?
What if they fell into the hands of someone he never even expected to be, especially a Stark?
What if he was given another point of view... another opportunity to be what he was supposed to be.

The Weight of Grief
It's almost funny. How grief sneaks up on you. One second, you're fine; you're coping well and then it hits you like a bullet, tearing right through your heart, almost killing you on the spot. Grief is a monster that lies dormant in the darkest quarters of your mind, growing stronger and stronger until you can't fight anymore. Until you can't breathe. Peter was fractured. The monster having grown too big, and without any support left to hold him up, the world of drugs dug its claws into him. And it was slowly killing him, like a sickly sweet poison that dulled the pain while quietly feeding on his soul. He was powerless to stop it. He was too tired to stop it. Tony was doing pretty good. Aside from having died, he was doing pretty good. Resurrected from the dead, check. Thanos dead, check. Wife and daughter thriving, check. He'd never expected to get his life back, that was for sure. He was thankful for the second chance. Unfortunately, Tony was quick to discover that the kid had all but lost his own life. It felt like a knife slowly twisting into his chest every time he saw the kid: in agony. Now Tony wasn't exactly the poster-child for a good emotional support figure, but he wasn't about to sit back and let this continue. No matter how hard the kid fought him, no matter how much resistance he was met with, Tony would help the kid. Still, he couldn't help the fear that laced his blood. But lately, things have been getting a little too weird. First, the nightmares. They don't feel like ordinary dreams-more like warnings. Like I'm supposed to be ready for something. Then there's the other thing. Something is happening to me-like something under my skin is trying to crawl its way out. I don't know why this is happening or if it's possible to stop it. The curtain around the hospital bed slides open to reveal an African American man with warm eyes. He walks in with an easy smile and a white man steps in just behind him with dark blue eyes and near black brown waves that fall to his shoulders. The man behind him catches my eye, his eyes a bright blue with a crown of golden hair. Our eyes meet and his crystal blue ones widen. Déjà vu hits me like a truck and my mind bounces back to a fuzzy night a couple of months ago full of hard liquor.
