josephine's (Josie) life took a turn that no one would expect. Her everyday life before turned into nothing but fuzzy memories and left her wondering why?

When Josie got into a car accident, all the things she knew before was stripped away from her in a flash after suffering from a traumatic brain injury. Her normal life as a child was swept away like the ocean hitting the sand; she didn't understand why this was happening to her and she didn't know what was going to change. Josie's days were filled with being poked and prodded at by doctors and feeling like this was going to be the rest of her life. Her family had to change for her but her mother has a dying need to control the change even if that means Josie. Josie just wants to be normal and wants her life to be the way it was before, but with each year that goes by in her life the more obstacles come like a freight train off the rails.
