This is an alternate story of Anupama, showcasing her life after the divorce with Vanraj Shah. Unlike what was presented on tv, Anu living with the Shahs after her divorce, this one embarks on Anupama's lone journey sans the Shahs involvement in her life.
So this story is about how she starts living for herself before Anuj entered her life.
Ps. Always wondered how it would be if Anu had not stayed with the Shahs after the divorce. I think the other counterparts of Anupama had the FL succeed before she meets Anuj. I have not watched any other of her regional versions, so I'm giving the story a different take myself.

Sometimes the second chance isn't enough and life tests you harder before finally awarding you the much awaited third chance when you have disastrously messed up the second chance. The process isn't easy. It wasn't for Anuj and Anupamaa. He suffered without her for 30 years and she did too just not with him just not to his knowledge. She suffered in her next birth for 30 years straight with a toxic family and an abusive husband. They breathed their last in the same second. Inspired by many Fan fictions. I thought of writing something for my MaAn. Sometimes I think what if Anuj had applied sindoor in Anupama's partings during that Diwali night when Baa offered Anuj to marry Anupama. How would have their life turned at that time. So here is an attempt to show MaAn's love-story in different perspective. I'm not a writer. That's why saying sorry before beginning the chapter... Sorry for typo- mistakes and whatever you don't like. But I promise I'll try my best for my MaAn . I'm little worried but as Anupama says - Pehla kadam hamesha mushkil hota hai but hume himmat kar ke uthana hi padta hai. So I'm taking my first step and beginning the beautiful journey of MaAn .
