Amariah had a heavy heart, she was known as the loudest but she had the biggest heartbreak of all. She carried it with all of her and yet it still didn't heal one bit.

To Amariah, she can't escape her destiny. She cannot lift her head any longer, she felt like she was drowning, her spirit bruised by the person she trusted most. The person who was meant to cherish her till death do them part.

Despite that fact, there was someone who silently hoped for her from afar. His yearning eyes held admiration, solely towards her.

Their paths were bound from unspoken sorrow, soft whispers, a yearning of what could've been, only to be shadowed by the cruelty of another man.

"I want to help you." His bright eyes sparkle in the moonlight. "You can't help me! You hurt me!" By now, the tears I had been desperately trying to hold back finally slip out. "They hurt you!" As he yells, the anger in his voice eases out; his eyes are filled with familiar sadness. "I have nowhere else to go." I shoot back, taking a step away from him, afraid he will strike me as everyone else does. As soon as he notices this, his eyes widen, and his fists relax. "Come with me." He responds, hope gleaming in his eyes. I look up at the bright moon shining down on us as the breeze ruffles my hair. "Come with you?" I question. Just as he nods my dizziness takes over, sending me to the ground. His hands wrap around me, barely catching me. "Don't let them hurt me." I whisper, looking into his eyes, trying to not let the spinning world take me. "They won't hurt you anymore. Ever." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Tivelly always seemed like the popular girl, always filling the room with her laughs and bright smiles. "Being away from you was unbearable," Isaiah confessed. "I couldn't focus on anything," he took a pause before continuing "What happened to my letter? I hope it is not somewhere in the trash," Isaiah said playfully, though his eyes betrayed his seriousness. Susan remained silent, bowing her head. "Susan, answer me," Isaiah urged gently. Susan blushed and looked down, "You are such an idiot." "I agree with that," Isaiah admitted. "Me, coming here and waiting for you, it has to mean something," she said, looking away from him. "Hey, I might be an idiot, but I can still understand what you feel" "Then why don't you understand it without me having to say it outright?" --- In the bustling heart of New York City, Evelyn Mae entered the world on a crisp autumn day. Born into a middle-class family, Evelyn was the youngest of four siblings, with one brother and two sisters who adored her. Her siblings, all married and thriving in their own lives, often reminisced about their mischievous yet cherished childhood days together. Evelyn, being the baby of the family, was particularly doted upon. Growing up, Evelyn was the apple of her parents' eyes. Her mischievous antics were often met with gentle reprimands and warm smiles, for she brought an unparalleled joy to their lives but it soon came to an end when her parents died in an accident. Determined to pursue her dream, she enrolled in medical school, sharing an apartment with her childhood best friend, Susan. They attended the same college and bonded over a few shared classes.
