Breaking the Silence

18 parts Complete

Everyone always says you shouldn't complain about your life because someone else has it worse, but Zachary Delmont can't help it. Zack is seventeen and the youngest of his family, having three older sisters, all of whom were at home far too often for his liking. It wasn't that he didn't like them, it was that he saw through them so easily. They always got their way as "Daddy's little girls" and he couldn't help but to feel left out sometimes. Not to mention how they were always getting him in trouble. At least his mom was on his side, though his loneliness wasn't helped by his lack of friends. One day, Zack decides to take a walk, but finds much more than he bargained for: a girl passed out in the bushes. She's covered in rags for clothing and bandages are around her mouth. When she wakes, she refuses to talk, leaving Zack to wonder why. Soon he finds out something special about this girl, her actions speaking louder than any words she could ever utter. Who ever knew that someone who was silent could show him how much louder he needed to be? (Alright, fair warning, this is a story pertaining to superpowers)
