Kyerno has been the last of his family ever since he was a child. The royal family took pity on him, enabiling him to stay at their castle in exchange for serving as guard to the King's brother, Prelan.
While in the north one day, Prelan makes a discovery while in an abandoned archive that he believes hints at the existance of a clan of people who share Kyerno's family name.
