The Beta Squad is sort of a work in progress in Aj's opinion. He feels like a specific member isn't really necessary, and if he'd left nothing would change. And yet, everyone insists on Aj just getting to know him.
Aj Shabeel couldn't have tried to be further away from Niko Omilana even if he wanted to.
Obviously though, Niko was a clingy asshole (in Aj's opinion) and would take one step closer to Aj whenever he took one step back.
