This is a short story I attempted to complete in time for a writing contest on the website 'reedsy prompts'. But, I was not not able to publish it in time. I still did really enjoy writing it so I wanted to post it on some other sites for somebody to check out.
This story is about the first battle William Hollow experiences aboard the war vessel 'The Sea Carver'. The story is just under 3,000 words. This was just a one off idea I had for the prompt which was 'Situate your character in a hostile or dangerous situation'. I would love to flesh out this world someday.
