The Batistas were tyrants on the south side. Stealing, dealing, causing gang wars, taking blocks, and threatening anyone who even scuffs up the concrete of a sidewalk they own.

At least, that's what they used to be. Rafael, the first son and second in line, never understood the greed-driven mob. His confusion turned into guilt, and guilt turned into action.

He made his family name one to respect rather than fear by giving back. Something that would get them out of the South something of worth.

Rafael would take this small neighborhood gang to the Gold Coast. His operations were smart and quick, taking dealings in the streets to deal in properties. He created an empire but even then nostalgia would slip through the cracks. That one call 5 years later that would bring him back, and of course it was a Gallagher who got caught up in trouble with him.

No one other than Frank Gallagher. Now he had to go back to the southside, or else his men would kill him. Fucking Gallaghers.
