Book two in the Gifted Trilogy, Sierra Farewall has been a stowaway for most of her life. Her best friend, Jesse Mae, is the one person she relies on to keep her safe. When Jesse and Sierra get into a terrible fight, Sierra flees, vowing never to go back and instead would try to find her parents. She gets lost up in the mountains, and has to fend for herself until a pack of wolves takes her in. Here, Sierra begins her trek south with the pack, eventually meeting up with a young girl about as old as she had been when she and Jesse got into the fight. Together Sierra and the girl travel further south, relying on God to guide them until they meet up with the person who could save them all...
