After felling the corrupted Imperator, Mortis Dues, at the cost of the legendary Guard Colossus and its Princeps, Sevorus Maximal, Legio Laude were tried and found guilty of heresy for the complete loss of an Imperator -no matter how corrupted- and a Warmaster was a cost that could not be excused. Now sentenced to join an Astartes chapter known as the Angels Of Judgment on a penitant crusade to the barren forges of Nefa-Gamma Zwei, a desolate moon in the Nefa system.

Saving what they can, the fleeing imperial forces gambled everything they have and escaped through a warp storm. As if the Emperor wills it, the imperial armada miraculously survives. Though they arrived into a galaxy they know nothing of.
