You're still just... dreaming." Her words echoed like poison in his ears. Ash turned away, his eyes burning, but no tears fell. Not yet. That night, as he left Lumiose City behind, his heart had hardened. For the first time in his life, Ash didn't just want to be the very best-he needed to be. Not for fun, not for adventure, not even for his friends. He wanted to prove Serena wrong. He wanted revenge. And so began his journey-not as the boy chasing dreams, but as the man who would crush them.
