In the slums of East London, two children faced the struggle of survival in an orphanage during the Great Depression. Only their unexplainable abilities could keep them from disease and death.

When a strange young man came knocking at Wool's Orphanage in 1936, offering the young girl a place at Durmstrang Institute of Magic, Tom and Gisela's questions were answered.

They had survived the Depression together, but faced with the challenge of separation and a continent at war between them, will the magical orphans make it out alive? Or will the Second World War and Grindelwald's reign of terror rip them apart?

OR

A historically accurate and psychologically realistic take on Tom Riddle's childhood, and the impact the presence of an older magical friend would have on his character.

Have you ever wondered what life at Hogwarts was really like for Tom Riddle, known by his darker moniker Lord Voldemort? How did he manage juggling life as a student while simultaneously plotting his immortality and tyrannical reign over the Wizarding world? Corinne Carrow, a shy Slytherin witch with a famous family lineage, was certainly not your typical cunning Slytherin. She was the outcast of her very reputable Pureblood family. Throughout her years at Hogwarts, Corinne wasn't fond of socializing much among her peers. That is, until she reached her 6th year, when fate led her to reestablish a friendship with the notorious and tragically handsome Tom Riddle. A complete opposite of Corinne, Tom was an intimidating and brooding character with expertise in the art of persuasion and manipulation. Though for some strange reason, Corinne found herself quite intrigued by him. While everyone else feared Tom and viewed him as potentially dangerous, Corinne overlooked this and saw straight through his dark ways. You may think you know the tragic story of the troubled orphan boy who would eventually become the most feared and immensely powerful Dark wizard in the world. But what you don't know is that the young Dark Lord happened to have one particular companion; one he may have even loved. So if Tom Riddle inadvertently defied his own loveless nature despite all impossibility, what made him not change his ways for Corinne? What made him instead enter a much darker route in life that led him to become the Dark Lord? This is the alternate story of Tom Marvolo Riddle, before he was Voldemort.

The adults of Wool's Orphanage were completely wrapped around Harrison Peverell's fingers. They cherished him, dotted on him, gave him extra of everything, even when the Orphanage already had so little. What they didn't know was that Harrison Peverell wasn't just a boy. He was a boy that got memories of his past life, everyday, through his dreams. Harrison Peverell was the Master of Death, only, he doesn't know until the day he remembers that he is, which is about 17 years into his second life. Death is patient with almost everything, but he desperately wants to meet his Master, face to face. So, turn that 17 years into 5 years. ¤¤¤¤¤ Tom Riddle, two years older than Harrison Peverell, was hated and feared at Wool's Orphanage. The only person that didn't hate or fear him was Harrison, who insisted on being called Harry. Tom didn't know what drew him to Harry, he didn't know why he was so fascinated by the way his jewel like eyes shined with a sharp cunning that no 5-year-old should have, so he avoided Harrison. He did this for a year, but Harry refused to be ignored. At age six, Harrison Peverell got the future Dark Lord wrapped tightly around his finger with a simple sentence. "If you are what is considered to be a freak, than I would rather be with you than be normal and accepted." ¤¤¤¤¤ This is a Tomarry Fanfic. It features boyxboy. Don't like, Don't read.
