All The Pieces Left Worth Saving

Following a dubious lead from some travelling merchants in a blind attempt to save the man she loves, Merit leaves her home and seeks the aid of a mysterious and powerful Mage: one who has the ability to perform miracles. What she finds is not what she expected, and when the price of the miracle is merely six months of her own life lived with the Mage and his three apprentices in the crumbling sea-side manor where they live, the woman gathers her courage and agrees to the terms. As she lives alongside the strange and magic-touched men, she learns the lengths people might go to in an effort to protect the ones they care for, the price of devoting yourself to the wrong person, and what it might mean to love someone in the true way.
