In a world dominated by quirks, Alice was an outlier-born completely quirkless. Living in Musutafu, she dreamed of becoming a hero just like her idols, but her aspirations were met with relentless bullying and mockery from her peers. The children called her "useless," while at home, her father, a once-revered hero, had grown bitter after his own failures. He often lashed out, believing she was a disgrace simply for being born without a quirk.
One day, while exploring the ruins of an ancient park long forgotten by time, Alice stumbled upon a hidden glade where an extraordinary light beckoned her. There, she discovered the five-leaf clover grimoire, an artifact feared and revered throughout generations. As she opened the tome, a chilling voice echoed in her mind, revealing itself as the devil who had been bound within its pages.
The devil sought to reclaim control over the world by using Alice as its puppet, feeding off her sorrow and rage. Alice wanted power, but she wasn't that desperate for power. Alice made a promise to the devil that she'd be able to control its power in a week, and if she wasn't able to control it in a week, then she'd accept the devil's deal and let it use her body.
And so, Alice trained her body and mind every day to try and control the devil's power. It was hard, but she did it with only an hour to spare. Even though she finally had the power to become a hero, an unfortunate event put a pause in her dreams. Alice was being hunted down by every villain in Musutafu, and it was because of the devil's power.
Apparently, the five-leaf clover grimoire was known all over the world, and the power it held was equal to or stronger than that of a god's, and everyone knew that she had it, giving her the title "The Devil's Vessel." Will Alice be able to become the hero she wants to be and have people depend on her instead of fear her, or will she be feared and hunted down forever?
