This story is a slow moving romance between the one and only Connor, our beautiful baby boy. I tried to be as true to the original characters as I possibly could, because it's a pet peeve of mine. I started writing this because I got hyper fixated on DBH and I needed more content, especially Connor related. so I came here to find fanfics, unfortunately, I was slightly disappointed. a lot of the romance moves to fast and the interactions didn't feel like the characters. There were some good ones out there, but not enough. So I took it into my own hands, and I'm trying to make it fun, and slow, because I like slow burns. I'm totally open to story suggestions, because when I'm writing this, I haven't made the ending yet. It can be a bit gory, that's why it's mature, but really anyone can and should read this story. I know I'm 6 years late to the trend, but if you see this, please just give my story a shot. I hope you enjoy. :)

*Follows the storyline of Detroit: Become Human* You've been working at Detroit City Police Department for a few years, being in the police force had been you're dream job since you were a child. Currently, you investigated human crimes. Recently, you've been given the task of investigating cases involving deviant androids. The sudden change from investigating humans to androids is going to be tough to get used to, but you knew you could handle it. They also decided to partner you up with Hank Anderson, which surprised you considering he hated androids. You had nothing against androids, unlike you're partner, Hank. You had no reason to hate them, they had never done anything to wrong you. Most of them are actually quite nice, not counting the deviants. Hank had always been like a father to you, and like any other human he would easily get upset and angered, sometimes even lashing out on you. He walks over to me and hesitantly places his hand on my chest, "What are you doing?" I ask. I won't lie I kinda hate myself for writing this but the ideas kept flowing so here we go It would take a long time for androids to be equal to humans, but at least the first steps had been made. Connor, a prototype for a detective android who managed to go deviant and form a friendship with an old police Lieutenant who drinks just a little too much was one of those androids who liked to believe he had a hand in the outcome of the Android Revolution. The rules were when the Deviant case was solved, Connor would return to Cyberlife, but now that androids were people he could stay in the police department- and you bet your ass he did. Everything was going smoothly for about a month or so until Connor and his best partner Hank are chasing after a serial killer and Connor gets injured on the job. Will Hank be able to finish the case without his partner there every step of the way? And an even bigger question: How will the Lieutenant handle Connors replacement - the RK900? Story length: 10,003 Words - This is based after the ending where everyone lives and they essentially get equal rights for androids - This is not Hank x Connor, it's more of a father/son relationship - Trigger Warnings: Cussing, drinking, bodies and typical crimescene environments, drugs, etc. - This is kinda a lazy fanfic- AKA I really love these characters and had a scene in my head, then formed a plot around it and did my best to make it interesting lol. - I made the cover in Desygner - Characters belong to the game Detroit: Become Human and the company that made it, Quantic Dream.
