War in the Central Region

The following are a mix of war on various stories cooked up on a whim.

Introduction

The Horean Federation and the Klestic Republic are at war, the two powers have been in a long rivalry of status. they have engaged in trade wars, proxy conflicts and espionage, but never outright war. Until 3 years ago, Klestian radicals launched an armed uprising in disputed border territories of the two nations. In response Horean border guards and police units were dispatched to put down the uprising, however, Klestic military units under the governments orders crossd th border and comitted several horrific atrocities against Horean security forces and civilians. The Horean state responded to such attacks with condemnation, when the international community did not believe the accounts, Horean Federation declared war and launched a full blown invasion. After 3 years of war the Horeans have been able to occupy nearly the entire Klestic Republic but under international pressure to withdraw all their armed forces in Klestic territory, the Horean have began preparing to launch one final operation to capture the Klestic leadership that provoked this war.
