Ishan knew dating his best friend's little sister was not easy, but this, this was purely comical. Shubman was not happy about his best friend dating his little sister at the first place, but for 2 whole years, without his acknowledgement was not something he could let go.

"Two... two years?" Shubman's voice was dangerously low, a rumble that promised an impending volcanic eruption. Then, WHAM. His fist connected with Ishan's cheek.

Shubman was still trembling, a visible cocktail of rage and hurt. "Two years, Ishan? Behind my back?"

Shreya gasped, her hand flying to her mouth, eyes wide with horror. She took an instinctive step towards Ishan, a silent plea for him.

But Shubman's hand shot out, gripping her wrist firmly. "Don't," he bit out, his eyes never leaving Ishan's pain-stricken face.
