yesterday, the fight, the silence, the moment everything changed. On the night that once marked their forever, Sandra returns, as if time folded just for them.

It's been two years, yet the wound is still fresh. It feels as though it all happened just yesterday, the
fight, the yelling, the broken promises. Maureen could still hear Sandra's voice echoing in her head,
sharp and angry, like a warning she didn't heed. The love they shared had turned to something
unrecognizable, and yet, here she was, still haunted by it.

She sighed deeply, sitting alone in the quiet park, the cool evening air brushing against her skin. Her
friends had sent their usual messages of concern, but the words felt like empty noise now. She didn't
need their sympathy; she needed something she couldn't quite define. Or maybe someone.

A sudden rustling from the bushes pulled her from her thoughts, and she froze. Despite the heartbreak, she was still afraid of wild animals, strange men, and, oddly enough, ghosts. The sound seemed too close, too immediate, and she instinctively tensed, her heart racing.

She almost dismissed it as the wind when she heard the unmistakable whisper.
