Dan Howell was in a rough state, only eighteen years of age and has gone through more shit that a 78 year old who was in the war. He was constantly bullied at school by fellow students, who just wanted him dead. His mother passed away from a drug overdose and his father was an abusive asshole who was jailed when Dan was three. Dan was an only child so he had no one to look up to or to take care of. He lived a troubled life until he stumbled along YouTube and found a channel called AmazingPhil, making him think that there was some light in his world of darkness.
