The Covenant have glassed Reach and the UNSC have scattered in multiple directions. The Ad Meliora, a Halcyon-Class Light Cruiser, rushed its launch and ended up going into slipspace to an unmapped corner of the Milky Way Galaxy. The area of space is so remote, the Ad Meliora loses contact with its sister ship; The Pillar of Autumn.
After finally coming out of slipspace, the crew of the Ad Meliora find themselves in a dark, secluded, and unmapped part of space. Not long, a Covenant Assault Carrier also exit's subspace, following the Ad Meliora. Seeing an unmarked planet nearby, the Captain orders the ship to fly towards the planet to try and hide from the Covenant Assault Carrier. The Planet they choose to hide on however, is fully inhabited by various creatures who are unaware of the conflict and will soon be in the middle of a bloody war. While the crew of the Ad Meliora find a way to repair their ship, they dedicate themselves in protecting the inhabitants from the Covenant.

The Ad Meliora is carrying approximately 2,000 active military personnel with around 250 crew members. A few dozen ODST's and 3 Spartan-IIIs are onboard. The Spartans are Maverick-A776, Clara-B452, and Kieran-B902. The Ad Meliora has a few pelicans on board with warthogs, and scorpion tanks. Despite being decently armed, it pales in comparison to the Covenant Assault Carrier.
The Covenant Carrier is named "The Fire of the Mighty," led by Shipmaster Khota 'Mutamee. Shipmaster Khota is armed with multiple covenant soldiers. There are an unknown number of Spirits and Phantoms, wraiths, and ghosts on board. Khota has been hunting Spartan Maverick for a while and will not stop until he sees the Spartan Commander fall in battle.

September 23rd, 2560, AI, Naomi Hello captain, to preface the ongoing conflict with the Banished forces, our resources are draining faster than anticipated, Marines, Spartan IV's, and even our Sangheili allies like the arbiter are being affected with the escalating conflict. ONI however is... they're getting on my nerves, they're being more paranoid than usual and I have an idea why, a field report in 2559 was filed during the Spirit of Fire issue, during their skirmises with the Banished, but that's not what's scaring ONI, at least i don't think.. in that report, a squad of marines under interim commander "Major Vaughan" have reported suspicious activity near firebase Omikron... something about a shifting shape with bioluminescent curtains within. a strange report to say the least, but whatever it is it's got ONI's panties in a bunch... First In The Fight
Game X-Over and Marvel Crossover Call Of Duty IW/AW and Halo S.A.T.O 7th Fleet was sent to investigate an unknown Forerunner planet to discover the energy readings on the planet. Captain Thomas Lasky from S.A.T.O sent a recon team comprised of Spartans (II, III), Sentinel Task Force and S.C.A.R team to locate the unknown artifact. When the team retrieved the artifact they bring it to the Infinity, when the artifact activated an unknown slipspace began dragging the fleet to an unknown universe that sents them to the Marvel Universe. Note: I do not own Marvel, Halo, and Call Of Duty IW/AW. In this world, S.A.T.O (Solar Alliance Treaty Organization) is a formal alliance between the U.N.S.C and U.N.S.A. When Destiny Burns, Ep. 1: A Halo and Inheritance Cycle Crossover
After an UNSC fleet fell prey to an ancient Forerunner scheme, a lone Spartan is left stranded in a world that he doesn't understand. He gets himself inadvertently bonded to a dragon, marking him as a pawn in a new conflict. He must fight for his life and overcome his own nature to gain allies in a world where nothing makes sense. But war always catches on, burning all it touches. Episode 1: Inserted into Alagaesia, Running from the Empire, The Varden, Battle of Farthen Dur, The Shade's master, A New Leader for the Varden, Travelling to Du Weldenvarden. I believe that seeing more than 60 parts in a story makes the readers (or at least me as a reader) feel uncomfortable so I'm dividing in different Episodes: At the Beors, At Du Weldenvarden, The Beggining of the Invasion, New Allies, etc. I'm trying to keep the word count per chapter at 2000 but I can't always divide the chapters smoothly so there may be some parts with 3000 to 7000 words. I suggest to read each chapter entirely to get a better grasp of the plot. Also, there are some scenes of bloodshed and fight, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. There may be some scenes not for children but not until, at least, chapter 35, Episode 3 or 4. Updates once or twice a week. Also gramatical correction of the already posted chapters. Tell me how long would you like each chapter, in a comment please. Also, Read, Vote, Comment and Share with other people (RVCS). But the young Spartan 2 will not be alone in this fight as he will meet some familiar face's from his past and some new ones as well. (if you new to this then i recommend that you read my Avatar Dawn of the Spartan first before making a start on this) This is where the Fight will end.
