Koneko is a girl who is half human and half cat demon. She witnessed her demon mothers death at the age of eight and grew up being called a monster. She has been bullied and threatened all her life. She finally manages to teach herself how to have her cat ears and tail disappear but when she gets overexcited or nervous they pop out. She goes to high school and tries not to be exposed, in fear that she will be bullied again. One day, an accident occurs and she's exposed and bullied once again. Yet one guy in the entire school treats her differently and kindly as if she's a normal human being. Will a new love blossom between the two of them, or will one be rejected?
