Long ago the town's people made the mistake of hanging Hanonca in the town's square. She cursed everyone, forcing them and their future generations to be stuck in Newcume. She also cast a spell on her lover making it so he could live forever. She meant to do it to herself as well but was killed before she was able too. Now her lover is doing whatever it takes to bring her back.

Present day, Allison, a women who looks almost exactly like Hanonca comes to town to work for the mayor.  She doesn't know anything about what's going on with the town, no one who works for the mayor does and he wants to keep it that way.  The town's people are a bit strange but she never suspected a thing, until she discover's one of the mayor's dirty little secrets in the attic, a place she was forbidden to enter. What she finds makes her and her new friends curious to find out more. Though the more they find out the less they want to know.
