Elize Ramirez, a quirky and optimistic 22-year-old Tourism student from Lyceum, is just one thesis away from finally graduating and escaping the clutches of her overly strict aunt and drama-filled cousins. Her topic? Cultural heritage and its impact on tourism. While digging through her late parents' belongings for inspiration, she stumbles upon a box of old VHS tapes-recordings they made before their sudden passing in 2005.

But one tape stops her cold.

It shows something impossible: Elize herself-captured on video, in the year 1989.

Before she can make sense of it, the screen flickers, the footage warps... and she finds herself transported to Central Park, Alabang-in the year 1989. Confused, barefoot, and very much in the wrong decade, Elize must blend in with a world she only knows from retro TV and stories.

But the past has a strange way of connecting with the future. And somewhere between vintage fairs, cassette tapes, and fatefully timed coincidences, Elize's journey will uncover more than just the heritage of a culture-it may reveal the truth about her own.
