What happens when you bring back the Avengers-only to have them start hunting you?
Meet Violet.
She's a survivor with a taste for shadows, a girl Hydra couldn't erase, and the city can't pin down. To the Avengers, she's a question mark with sharp edges-part ally, part threat, always just out of reach.
To most, she's only a name whispered in half-truths. But she's more than rumor. She's a storm the team isn't ready for, and one they don't know how to weather.

Hi. I'm Violet.
And if you're reading this, I should warn you-this isn't the kind of story that ends neatly.
To understand how I got here, you have to start at the beginning.
My parents worked for an organization called S.H.I.E.L.D. I never knew the full truth of what they did-only that one night, it cost them everything. My family. My siblings. My whole sense of safety.
I was four, maybe five, when it happened. The home invasion. The night Hydra broke everything I thought was safe.
That was the first time I learned survival doesn't care how young you are.

The Black Mamba and the Avengers
By Casey Winters - Photo by Violet Hasan
Who is the Black Mamba? Where was she during the Blip? And more importantly-why should New Yorkers trust her?
This city's no stranger to the extraordinary. First the Avengers, then Spider-Man, and now... the Black Mamba.
She appeared three years ago, just after Tony Stark's sacrifice. A new face in the shadows, a vigilante who doesn't quite play by anyone's rules.
But two weeks ago, something impossible happened. Stark and the rest of the fallen Avengers stepped out of a glowing portal in Central Park. Watching from the top of Stan Lee's memorial? Mamba herself-smirking, before vanishing toward a fire downtown.
So was she tied to their return? Or just another "coincidence"?
Personally? I don't buy coincidences.
