The year is 845. Titans have attacked 22 year old Rylai's home of Shiganshina. Her parents have abandoned her for unknown reasons, instead leaving her in the care of the Special Operations Squad leader of the Survey Corps, Levi Ackerman. As Levi takes Rylai under his wing, a simple bond between mentor and student grows into something much more complicated. As humanity fights for their very survival, pinning their hopes on the two strongest fighters they have, the two grow much closer to each other, often pairing up together on simple solo missions. But will their loyalty to each other save the world, or spell the end for humanity?
