Five years after Avelina and Sebastian went their separate ways, they find themselves unexpectedly reunited at the very place their story began: Hogwarts. No longer students but professors, they've spent years pretending to forget what once sparked between them. But something strange is stirring in the castle's ancient halls. Magic is fading. Wands fail to spark.

They were oblivious once, to what they had, to what they lost, and to what still lingers between them. Now, as memories rise and magic fails, they must ask: can love survive when everything else is slipping into oblivion?

Avelina:
"Sebastian started working at Hogwarts."
Silence.
Then-
"Are you-are you fucking with me right now?"
I cringed. "Nope."
"Sebastian Sallow?"
I nodded slowly, dreading the inevitable fallout.
"As in the Sebastian Sallow? The one you used to sneak into every cupboard, closet, and shadowy corridor you could find to rub against like you'd been possessed by some demon?"
"Viv, please," I hissed, nearly choking on my tea. "Keep your bloody voice down."

Sebastian:
And him. That bloody peacock in a suit, down on one knee like he was offering her the goddamn moon.
I didn't want to care. I didn't want to feel this.
It's been five bloody years. Five years since she left. Since we said we didn't hate each other anymore and then didn't say anything else at all.
I couldn't keep letting her live in my head like she still belonged to me.
Because she didn't.
Not anymore.
