When a colossal dragon lays claim to the heart of the Fae Forest, a mischievous and curious fairy named Sylphi is forced to flee her enchanted home. With nowhere else to go, she ventures into the sprawling human capital of. There, she discovers the Omni Lord King's Forge, a newly established smithy with the potential to become legendary-but only if it can survive the harsh competition of the city.

Drawn by the warmth of the forge (and a desire for shiny things), Sylphi secretly moves in and begins using her subtle fae magic to assist the struggling Sun-Lightning Dragonborn blacksmith, Kaelen. While Kaelen dreams of crafting legendary weapons worthy of the king's knights, Sylphi is content to play pranks and explore human curiosity-until she finds herself enchanted by the art of blacksmithing.

By night, Sylphi repairs tools, uncovers lost items, and tweaks designs when no one is looking. By day, she spies on the growing team of misfits who join the forge: a stoic dwarven metallurgist, a runaway noble turned apprentice, and a mysterious customer with a dragon-shaped secret. As Sylphi's hidden help begins to turn the forge's fortunes around, her curiosity about crafting-and her budding friendship with Kaelen-grows stronger.

But the shadow of the dragon who drove her from the forest is never far behind. When an ancient curse tied to dragonkind threatens to engulf the forge and the city itself, Sylphi must decide whether to keep hiding-or reveal herself to protect her new home and her new friends.
