Four years after the events of "Not what he Seems", the Pines twins return to the sleepy town. Gravity Falls has not changed a bit unlike the twins. Since that day, they drift farther and farther apart. The lost their trust for each other. More Dipper, rather than Mabel, who now trusts no one. They arrive to finish the rest of their high school career, but something pulls them back into the adventures of the Mystery Twins and the Journals. But an unwelcome friend arrives and stirs up some trouble.
"Y'know I can get her to like you. I just need something from you."
"It's not like last time, is it?"
"Never! I learned my lesson."

The sun rises on a beautiful sunny summer day. Bill has been waiting for the perfect time to try again. Cast in stone, a statue in the forest of Gravity Falls, he had a lot of time to think.
