The Forbidden Lands were never meant to be explored.

When a young man named John MacTavish stumbles out of the desert, half-dead and carrying a warning from a land long thought uninhabitable, Task Force 141, along with the newly named hunter, Soap, is sent to investigate. Their mission: uncover the truth behind the lost city of Wyveria, a civilization erased from history, and to eliminate the monstrous force that wiped it from existence.

However, as they journey deeper into the wilderness, they realize that the biggest mystery isn't just the ruins or the monsters that stalk them in the dark-it's Soap himself.

As the Task Force fights to survive, they must all confront the impossible truths of the Forbidden Lands, truths previously thought lost to time.

Because in the Forbidden Lands, only one law remains: survive.

26 parts Complete Mature
Samantha Hall is a highly skilled soldier who's been recruited into the Task Force 141 by her father, General Shepherd. She knows she'll have no problem fitting in, especially when connecting to the other comrades, except one thing challenges that...and his name is John MacTavish. With a stubborn and sarcastic attitude, "Soap" is sure to drive Sam to the brink of insanity. Until he doesn't. Now with a more meaningful relationship with the handsome soldier, Sam finds herself questioning the trust she has in her father, especially as he turns his back on his own men. In a war of alliances, Samantha finds herself stuck between two different worlds: one with Soap and one without. Upon becoming part of a dangerous game, Sam is sure to stay with the men she knows best. Doing so will result in unprepared deaths and haunting twists, but Sam hopes the training instilled in her brain will help her evade the bullets whistling around her. ✧ ✧ ✧ WARNING- Will contain mature scenes that can include blood/violence, strong/offensive language, sexual activity, and alcohol/drugs. Read at your own preparation and discretion. DISCLAIMER- I do not own anything related to Modern Warfare 2 or 3. That belongs to affiliates of Call of Duty and all game creators. However, Samantha, some plot, and some situations are my ideas entirely, so I reserve all rights to them. Please do not take without asking. NOTE TO READERS- Thank you so much for the support and for continuing to read my stories. I truly hope you enjoy this fanfic from the traditional (2009) games that inspired me to write Call of Duty for y'all. I love each and every one of you so much!

Echoes of Havoc

25 parts Ongoing

She survived the mission. But surviving the aftermath? That's the real war. When Rowan "Havoc" MacKenzie, a Tier 1 operator with a past full of ghosts, joins Task Force 141, she's not there to make friends-especially not with John "Soap" MacTavish, the Scottish sergeant who pushes every button she has. But when a brutal mission goes sideways, Rowan becomes the bait, the target, and the reason the team teeters on the edge. Now hunted, haunted, and holding secrets she'd die to protect, Rowan must choose: stay broken, or rise as the weapon the enemy fears most. Slow-burn tension. Relentless grit. A war fought in silence, shadows-and the echoes of who we used to be.
