Cassiopeia Wilson, the secret daughter of Slade Wilson, is a reformed assassin and trauma-forged teenager adopted by Hank Hall and Dawn Granger after being found injured and alone. Scarred by her past, recovering from addiction, and quiet to the point of ghost-like, Cassie keeps to herself-haunted by everything she's done, and everything she could still do.
Despite being part of the Titans, she barely connects with them. She's quiet, guarded, and violently averse to touch or trust.
Then there's Jason Todd. Cocky, bruised, loud, and chaotic. They weren't supposed to fall for each other. Especially not when Jason was Cassie's sister, Rose's, ex boyfriend.
But they did.
Cassie becomes pregnant. When the truth comes out-during a typical Titans hangout-chaos erupts. Rose stabs Jason. Cassie, guilt-stricken, defends him but chooses her sister over love. The betrayal hurts everyone. Especially Cassie.
