In the underwater kingdom of Imbolo, Princess Ivy's 16th birthday celebration turns tragic when her mother, Queen Ever, is killed by a falling rock during a mysterious tremor. Believing the dark sorceress Galillah is responsible, Ivy vows to avenge her mother's death. With the help of her friends Gray and Jewel, Ivy seeks out the Sea Goddess Uli, who agrees to grant them legs to venture onto land in search of a powerful weapon to defeat Galillah. The mermaids face numerous challenges as they navigate the unfamiliar world above the sea, encountering humans and their strange customs. They observe the humans' daily life, learning about their society and technology, all while trying to find the weapon that will help them reclaim their kingdom. As they immerse themselves in this new world, they discover that being human is not as easy as it seems, and the risks are greater than they anticipated.

The royal guards ambushed the princess and took her away to the witch's house near the ocean. The two white witches agreed to help the princess for her desperate plea to return to her home castle. And stop her brother for his act of disposing his only twin sibling. The two white witches told her to take a swim in the sea before leaving. Before Lucia tries to get out of the water, she was suddenly transformed into a mermaid by the two white witches. There are two ways to break the spell before her time is up by the next month. If Lucia gets a kiss by the merman, she'll be a mermaid for all eternity. If the princess gets a kiss from the prince on land, she will be human again. If not, she will be lost in the world of water. Will Lucia see her family again as a mermaid? How is she going to reach them if she can't swim as a mermaid? Princess Lucia was new to be a mermaid.
