It hurts when your family rejects you only because you are quiet and weak saying you are good for nothing. She had only one dream, she wanted to feel loved, she wanted someone to tell her that they care and would love her no matter what happens. For a moment, I was afraid of him going back to his old self before dismissing that thought and focusing on my missing newborn son. Don't worry, I'm coming for you, my little bubba... Stories passed on from the victim in an attempt of healing, and information passed on to us for cataloguing and preservation. I believed that, once something is written down and locked away, it loses its power. I have since come to realise that that is not the case. Today, I have hired a new Archivist. Her skepticism will serve her well. They always turn up here, eager to confront the dark corners of reality, to study it like a worm under the magnifying glass. This one is different.
