Her parents are on a job that could take months. His dad went missing while on a job and his mum died years ago. She doesn't know what her parents do for work, only that they travel for weeks at a time. He on the other hand, knows exactly what his father does, and that's why he hasn't reported him missing. They become close friends, again, and when a group of fully armed men break into their school looking for the two them claiming their parents had betrayed them, Abby and Noah are forced to go on the run. At only 16 years old. All because of the jobs their parents have.
