Our Not-So-Normal Year

"Annie," Chase said squatting down next to me. He was looking at me with a smile on his face, but in his eyes I could see pain. Was that from me? "Chase, I-" "Just hear me out," he begged and so I waited for him to continue. "I'm sorry about everything I said and did to upset you. If you're willing I want to make it up to you. Here," he said and pushed a crumpled up wad of paper into my hand, then folded my hand over it. "If you're willing, I'll explain everything." Then he got up and walked back by his black suited friends and walked away. I, on the other hand, was frozen in place. Did he really mean it? ~~~ Annie is 17, but despite her age she's never had a boyfriend before. She has a good reason, too. Her parents are filthy rich and everyone seems to know that. So she doesn't want someone to date her because she's rich. That's why she gladly went to England for her junior year. Chase has had a similar problem, too. But he's the prince of Brallington. Now his dad has decided to send him to the same place Annie's parents are sending her. But what happens when they fall in love and Annie finds out Chase has been keeping secret that not only is he a prince but also something else that could ruin their relationship? Four secrets.
